SHEILA PAZOS (Ginebra, 1986)
Graduated in Fine Arts in 2009 by the Faculty of Pontevedra with the End of Degree Prize, she expanded her studies with a Master?s Degree in Maya(3D) in Madrid, a Master?s Degree in Contemporary Art, Creation and Research at the University of Vigo and is currently writing her PHD and studying Higher Studies in Galicia Textile and Fashion Design (ESDEMGA).
She is an artist who plays with the city, with its powerful concrete block and extensions of asphalt, as if it were an enormous grey canvas. We enter in her work as we were children, with no limits to our imagination, going through impossible corners that are presented to us as family. Her aesthetic vision is based on surrealist poetic postulates and takes us, with fictional photomontages, into a credible fantastic world.
