? and everything just stopped. We are locked up. Our world is reduced to four walls and to Google. The enemy is invisible and can be everywhere. Uncertainty. How long. And what after. Concern. For your beloved and for the other that you cannot see. For the future. The first moments are strange. We want to know, to understand, we feel knocked out. It is hard to start again. We take conscious of our fragility as specie and we feel as we were part of the script of a science-fiction super production. We think about what does really matter and we question about our role in a globalized society marked by fragile economic, social, environmental and politic balances. We become more supportive and empathic. We applaud. We resist. We are aware that returning to normality is an issue that involves us all.

This exhibition is a narrative that depicts an extraordinary historic moment, using images as the medium to tell everything that cannot be clarified with words. Even tough the limitations, the artists have non-stopped. Millions of writers, musicians and visual creators in the hole planet have felt more inspired than ever. Their contribution lies in there. Maybe we will find answers. And this is why METRO Gallery wants to perform its new role as mediator opening a new gate that connects us with the sensations lived by a group of them during quarantine, underlining the role of the artistic creation during the most critical moments, which ? as we could observe ? has been an essential emotional support for our lives.

This exhibition gathers small inedited works of art on paper, small objects, sculptures and photographs created by twenty artists in their own dwellings. These are works that were born during a singular historic moment and that want to encourage art consumption with symbolic prices and to contribute to temper the de-climbing of our creators.
